FUE Hair Transplant Stages

During FUE hair transplantation, more than one staff works at the same time throughout the operation to speed up the process.

•      hair roots from It is separated from the tissue without damaging the hair root by means of a micromotor. These roots that come out of their place  are then collected by the operator.

• To prepare another specialist first takes the collected hair follicles and strings them on a surgical gauze strip.

Hair follicles cannot survive for long outside our body. Therefore, after the grafts are cleaned, they are placed in a special serum solution.

•      It provides protection from environmental effects, especially dehydration (drying).

•      hair roots It can remain in solution for about 8-10 hours outside the body.

•      Transplantoperations usually take less than 8 hours.

Anesthesia Procedure

During the operation, the specialists administer anesthesia to you at least twice. You will receive the first anesthesia application just before the hair follicles are removed.

•      He administers anesthesia as if he were drawing a line around him.

•      starting from behind the ears.

•      ends just below and this area has the strongest hair follicles.

The process is felt at the time of application of anesthesia. You will not feel anything when the anesthesia of the donor area is completed, as patients usually begin to feel numb from the area that received the first anaesthetic.

•       anesthetists generally approximately It has an effect that lasts for 3-6 hours.

You will receive your second anesthesia after the hair follicles are removed and just before opening the channels. This time, anesthesia is applied to the area to be transplanted. This time, the doctor applies anesthesia as if drawing a line around the area to be planted.

Some patients prefer that the graft to be transplanted is from the lower part of the beard or the chest area. In this case, the same procedure applies to these regions.

How Can We Determine Where and How Much Grafts Will Be Planted?

When the hair follicles are separated and the examination and cleaning process is completed, the doctor prepares to open the canal. Channels are tiny holes that doctors make with microblades.

•      evaluates its shape and draws a path accordingly.

•      our hair specific tends to be sloping growth. come out at a 90 degree angle.

•      looks at the angles and makes incisions to simulate those angles.

•      expert counts how many grafts are taken from the patient.

•      doctor plans according to the number of grafts.

•      It determines how many channels will be opened and which channel will receive how many grafts.

•      doctor opens channels.

However, it can be uncomfortable to process for a long time. Therefore, the teams take a small break to give the patient some time after opening the channels.

Planting Process

Now that both grafts and canals are ready, the planting process can begin. After the break after the canal is opened, each of the specialists takes a graft collection and starts the transplantation process. Grafts that are judged to be healthier are usually placed in the front row of the canals.

Specialists remove each graft with a very small tool similar to tweezers. Usually, two or more specialists transplant hair follicles at the same time to save time. This stage takes most of the operation time, because each graft is sensitive and care must be taken during transplantation.

Sometimes at this stage, the anesthetics can expire. If you start to feel something, you should inform the team. If you did not receive much anesthesia during the operation, you will be given more anesthesia.

Root Removal Process in FUE Hair Transplantation

After the micromotor expert covers a certain area, another expert steps in and starts the intake. The micromotor makes very small holes, but all. Hair follicles also need to be removed one by one. The extraction specialist uses the same tweezers-like tool to remove the grafts. Again, another specialist takes these grafts and cleans them with the help of a spray. After the hair follicles are cleaned, the operator sorts and counts them as in FUT.

In the FUT method, a large permanent scar is left on the back of the head. This scar is usually not seen unless the patients have short hair. However, for this reason, we recommend the FUE and DHI methods to our patients instead of the FUT method.

No incision is required in the FUE method. The micromotor performs the grafting with minimal damage to the scalp skin. Thanks to this regional device, patients do not get permanent scars. Micromotor graft removal scars are almost invisible to the naked eye, even if the hair is cut short.

In the past, clinics used FUE graft retrieval with a handheld mechanical device. Today we do this with a micromotor. Although handheld devices were popular in the 90s, we have micro motors produced with newly developed technology.

Today, you can have both DHI and FUE hair transplantation in Turkey at affordable prices. You can also have detailed information about both procedures and fees by visiting our website and consulting our experts.

What to do after sowing?

After the FUE hair transplant is completed, the team starts to bandage your head. The transplanted area is not bandaged. Because at this point, the transplanted grafts are too sensitive to withstand any physical contact. Therefore, you must be very careful not to hit your head anywhere.

Risks and Side Effects of Fue Hair Transplantation

Like any surgical intervention, hair transplant surgery has some risks and possible side effects. Some patients do not notice most side effects. In addition, some will have mild side effects. It all depends on the service provided by the clinic and the efforts of the patient. Some of the common side effects are:

•      in the area around octo- crusting

•      hair

•      folliculitis

•      Processing regions around temporary loss of sensation

We keep the risk of side effects to a minimum, as we provide our patients with first-class service and medical quality. Please contact our experts for more information about the possible side effects and risks of your condition.

Sleep Instructions

After the bandage, give you instructions on how to spend your first few days. For the first seven days after the operation, you must lie on your back. This helps prevent unwanted friction while you sleep. We can recommend using neck pillows to keep your back stable. A neck pillow will help you sleep on your back.

Your First Morning After FUE

When you wake up the next morning, you will need to take the medications we will give you after the operation. Of course, you will receive information on how to use them along with medicines.

Once your transaction is complete, we will give you an interview date for checking. When you come to our hospital, we will remove your bandages, clean your head and give you a headband. Inflammation may occur after surgery. This is an effect of the operation and the drug. Your body will accumulate fluid in response to injury and foreign matter (anesthesia).

Edema and Dealing With It

The hair band helps to prevent the edema that occurs naturally after the operation from moving down due to gravity. If this edema will move downward, it will usually be the face. This causes an unpleasant appearance and some discomfort. Therefore, listen to your instructions and keep the headband on for the specified time.

In addition, not maintaining an upright posture after the operation can lead to the same result. If you are used to bending your neck and looking down, you can put yourself at risk. To avoid such complications, we advise patients to keep their posture as upright as possible. The inflammation heals in about 3-7 days, depending on how the body reacts.
